Welcome to The Lennox Practice

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

During this pandemic we have had to change the way we work both to keep you safe and ourselves.  If you are unwell please telephone the Surgery where you will be asked for a brief description of your Medical Emergency so that we can make the best decision for your care.  If you feel it is not life threatening you will receive a telephone appointment within 48 hours.  Please remember if you are wishing to speak with a particular doctor this may not be possible as GP's are all part time and only work on certain days.

Please try to use your phone to contact us and do not come into the Surgery.  All prescriptions will be sent to a chemist of your choice.

Please stay safe.

During Covid 19 Pandemic we appreciate that it is difficult to come to the Surgery to have your BP checked regularly.  Many people nowadays have their own BP machine at home and we would encourage you to take your own blood pressure reading and we are happy to accept these over the phone or preferably by email to our Clinical email box.

This email is used for secure clinical information to be received by the Practice so please do not ask any questions or look for help through this email box.  We are still available by phone Monday to Friday  8am - 6pm.

If you are concerned about your blood pressure, please phone the Surgery and make a telephone appointment with the Practice Nurse.

Please tell us the following information

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • 3 readings (taken at the same time)
  • Date of readings

The British Heart Foundation has an easy to use guide on Managing BP in the Home

It is full of useful tips and guidance on the best machine available
